attached file shows 5 st. patricks - same die pair
top to bottom they are:
1. white metal copy
2. JPL electro
3. copper farthing with splash - cast?
4. struck farthing
5. struck shilling
The "painted on" splash of coin #3 is not unusual for the series. In
fact it is more common than the "plugged" splasher that is also found.
Coin #3 has square rims - no signs of edge reeding.
Do you see the dilemma?
