Here are the different levels in increasing order in my opinion of
presenting colonial information to the public:

    1. This Chat Room (least important).
    2. Coin World.
    3. C4 Newsletter
    4. ANS-COAC publication.
    5. CNL Newsletter (most important).

Some may argue as previously discussed on why you will never see a
full-time coin dealer in this chat room week -to -week.

Should anybody really get all bent out of shape with information
    appearing in (1) above????

time to return to the purpose of this egroup. John, I wasn't quite
sure what you meant in a previous post this AM, but please post info
to discuss. If it's controversial and stimulates debate, all the
better - that's how we come to conclusions, even if the conclusion is
that two or more of us agree not to agree. We should present our
information, data, questions and thoughts in a clear understandable
manner. If side references are given that are meant for only one
person to understand, then it confuses all of us. Those reading
these posts form opinions about the posters based on what is read.
There are some strong personalities, some mild, some opinionated,
some egos... I wish that all were as humble and open-minded as me

with the hope of adding enjoyment to our hobby. Sharing with others
of like interest is what makes this hobby fun. There are dozens of
members out there who just observe and learn, whether novice or
advanced. Despite what conflicts you have seen on this group, we are
a fun group and if you have questions please ask - someone here will
probably have an answer... if not I'll make one up for you
(kidding!). I would rather get 5 or 10 posts a day with good
numismatic content than get 60 to 80 that take up time deleting.
