As a former slab devotee, I now find myself trying to figure out the best way to
store my coins.
First priorirty is protection and preservation, so that what is original red, for
example, stays that way for as long as possible.
Second priority is ease of viewability. One convenient thing about slabs is
that they allow for easy viewing without fear of dropping, damaging,
fingerprinting, having my son spill chocolate milk on them, etc. I do like to
look at my coins a lot.
Ideally, I'd like a solution that makes viewing relative easy (i.e. doesn't require
me handling the coins, sliding them in and out of little envelopes just to see
them, etc.), but I don't want to compromise on preservation to do so.
Any thoughts?
