Just that! "Nice coin with major damage"
The late Richard (Dick) Picker always used "Adjective Grading"
and detested anything else. That was one of his Hallmarks of
excellence.

I see something ugly creeping into this exercise..... The term
"net" / "net grade" has appeared several times in the replies posted so
far. Dangerous territory when grading colonials.....let's keep net
grading confined to EAC and LC collectors. They can rarely agree
on a net grade on coins struck in a relatively "cookie cutter" fashion
when compared to colonials. And let's keep the term "scudzy" out of
