Roger, Thanks, must have been really something to see. I can't own
ANY of those that you mention, but I will be happy to see them none the
less. Just a note, I had looked at the Eliasberg Non Vi Virtute Vici piece
for quite some time, and found that the face had been smoothed! There was a
linear scratch from the top of George's head to the neck, and the facial
part of the scratch had been smoothed over, and probably recolored
afterwards. Still a nice coin, but overpriced, imho. David

from FUN. It was a pretty decent show with all the usually suspects. <BR>
But Stack's had a table with some of the material from the upcoming <BR>
FORD sale in May. Wow. An uncirculated Getz Silver Half DOllar. An <BR>
amazingly nice Non Virtute Vici (spell) easily the finest known (I <BR>
thought better than Eliasberg). An amazing silver George Washington <BR>
Skull and Crossbones, a very nice (nicer than the Americana sale last <BR>
year) Gold round George Washington Funeral Medal, a Rings Chalmers <BR>
(probably finest of four known), two better VF/EF NY Excellsiors, a <BR>
nice UNC Washington Roman Head, A mind blowing large Oval Washington <BR>
Peace Medal, a Washinton Confederatio (spell),=A0 an OK Lord Baltimore <BR>
Six Pence but a gorgeious Copper Baltimore Three Denerum (I think <BR>
that is the right denomination/spelling description), a beautiful UNC <BR>
Carolina Elephant Token and the list goes on. Appologies to Mike if I <BR>
grade described anything wrong and to all for wrong denominations, <BR>
spelling etc. I am doing this from my Hotel room but I wanted to give <BR>
you an idea of what was there. Also Larry S. indicated that they will <BR>
have these coins and a few more in Long Beach.<BR>
