    It appears not to have sold - did you contact the seller to see if he still has it? That was a nice article and pictures you had posted. Thanks for sharing the web site. I have a couple pounds (about) of this early Canadian coper. Are there any great rarities in this series? If you'll be at the C4 Convention in Boston, I could bring them for you to look through. I've seen the GeoIII punched on the neck on eight Reales before. I heard a political reference to it being called,"the head of a fool on the neck of a jackass". Was this a contemporary quote or more modern? Does this punch ever occur other than on the Monarch's neck?

    I wrote the seller and asked if he had been ripped off by some snake in the grass unwilling to bid fair and square but he never answered.
    Maybe someone was more polite with the seller.
