    Except that Mike doesn't guess, he assigns a rarity based on what he
    has seen. That may be precise but it's also not totally accurate as
    a way to extrapolate. I don't know how much of his observation comes
    outside of auction consignments, but I suspect that collectors such
    as Ray and Roger (S or M), in their bourse searches, may have seen
    more of common varieties if they're typically found in low grades but
    Mike may well have seen more of the auction quality specimens if he's
    looked at collections who's owners considered consigning but then
    didn't sell. I like to step back and see where all of you tend to
    agree and where the differences are and use all the estimates.
