I took this very hurried image of how I carry around my images.....
When I bought my printer last September, it came with software that allows you to print out anywhere from a single borderless image per page, to 2 / 4 / 20 / 48 / 80 images per sheet. The 20 / 48 / 80 image layouts are basically thumbnails, but the thing I like is that is prints out the filename (i.e., variety) directly below each image.
I can then carry this with me to determine if a coin I see might be an upgrade, without having to carry around 200+ full sheet images.
In addition, I have the images backed-up onto another computer (my laptop at work), at least four separate CDs, two ZIP disks, and a portable USB "jumpdrive". One copy of the CD is kept in the safe deposit box with the coins, and another copy is kept locked up at work....my "disaster recovery" plan.
So even a disaster at home or on my home PC wouldn't render all that work lost.
Craig
