Hi everyone, Seems I'm always asking for help here. I recently came across this NJ(see attached) and have not been able to attribute it exactly. I checked the Maris plates, and a few catalogs I have but came up empty. It seems to be similar to the Maris 9 and 10 varieties, but not exactly. I can't match the obverse or the reverse. The coin weighs 139.84 grains and has a good loud ring...I'm no expert, but I can't find any sign of casting. The coin has a 90 degree die rotation. The horse looks kinda odd...funny mouth..like possibly some doubling, but I can't tell for sure...may just be a striking characteristic for this type. I have attached a color and black and white pic...these are the best I have, but should be find for attribution. As usual, all comments and opinions are appreciated. I have to go to work now, and afterwords have to go out, but I should be back late tonite. Thanks again, Steve
