Canadian collectors seem fairly well organized to me, John, they're having a convention soon, if it hasn't already happened, and they have an specialty organization called, CATC, I believe. I've found Canadians to be much more broad minded than we Americans, and much more knowledgeable in areas such as Blacksmiths. My motives for belonging to the Blacksmith esig is simply that I might learn something from a few of these Canadians who obviously know much more about the subject than you or I, and if it relates in some way with counterfeit halfpence all the better - such as Gord's revelation about Wood 42. Good luck with your endeavor to impress the Canadians, you're already off to a good start. Byron
