Topic: Digital photographs versus scanning
I just thought I would post a couple of images. Both images are of the sam=
e coin (not a colonial but I think an interesting comparison). One was don=
e several years ago with a scanner. The other one just a few minutes ago.
Its hard to believe these are the same coin. I have to believe I would get=
a lot more selling this on ebay using the image from the digital camera. =
=20
Yet I see many people selling good coins with very poor images.
I will go out on a limb here and recommend to Mario (and anyone else that i=
s selling stuff on eBay using scanned images) that he (they) get a reasonab=
le digital camera and learn how to use it. I bet it pays for itself in two=
maybe three sales.
