Brian has been working a mellon field in Upstate NY for about a year now an=
d has gotten quite a few colonial era coins, buttons, musket balls, nearly =
50-100 pieces of white clay pipe and he figures the site which is next to t=
he Mohawk River was possibly a tavern in the 1700's.
This morning he made his best find in the field, a Mass coin.
I am awaiting him sending me better pics of of but here are his initial pic=
tures. I do not have the full plates of the Mass coins, and I am not even =
sure if it is a Pine Tree or Oak tree, but based on what I am seeing I thin=
k it is an Oak tree.

My best guess at the moment is a Noe 10????????
Any help appreciated, he is rather excited on finding a coin he never expec=
ted to find in his neck of the woods.
