Well, since things are slow, I will mention that I had
a few late afternoon hours of metal detecting today.
Rather than a colonial site, I went to the town's
local sledding hill and had a ball. A lot of coins -
all modern but I did get a 1920 Mercury dime. It came
out of the ground perfect. I am amazed at how nice
the silver comes out, while the copper is all eaten up
- even those only 20 years old. Oh well, I had a good
time and so did my dog. Roger - 2004-12-14
