    I know it's not mine. Thanks por the comparison posts. I think
    that the knowledge of these coins struck from the same dies leads to the
    credibility of this gold piece. Especially since the gold piece seems
    to have been struck from an earlier die state, but can't tell for sure
    from the pictures.
    Stan, is Noyes# 72922 still unique? It was at one point and it is
    the only unique variety in my colonial collection. I hope it stays that
    way for a while <BG>
