What joke about the male dogs?

I think a lot of us are growing weary of this topic Jim, for various reasons. I think by now it should be obvious to you and everyone, that not all image processing software possesses the capabilities you think they do. While various levels of computer proficiency certainly exist on this list, I believe that there are several members knowledgeable enough in PCs, to prove beyond reasonable doubt that your assumptions are incorrect. And if I may, I'd like to go back to square one, and ask you: EXACTLY why is this embedded information such a big deal? Other than the fact that the information CAN be included with an image (assuming the proper software is available to view it), what VALUE does it bring to the table? Is it just a "nicety" or is there a true purpose for it? If all it shows is who took the image, and on what date, and what F ratio they used, and what exposure length, and what the "x and y" pixel sizes are, and a copyright statement.....who cares? Again, just because you CAN do something, does that mean you should? Have you ever heard the joke about male dogs? It's essentially the same point. Craig McDonald
