I also have sent this guy several nice informative emails, including one wi=
th an image of a 9-76B. I think its either a face saving situation or tota=
l ignorance coupled with a good dose of ego.
I think this guy has a lot of Mario like characteristics but at least Mario=
could easily tell a Machin's from something thats not!

I had a debate with a man name Byron Watson=
, and he provided me with plenty of visuals that only solidifies that this =
is a Machin Mills. !. This is not a corrected date, because all examples th=
at were corrected showed the 5/6 to be crudely corrected or an extra bold s=
trike. This has neither. In order to fall into that category this coin's 6 =
would have had to have been struck a six with a purposeful wear in the dye =
at the bottom. I have looked at the charts of the Atlee family counterfeits=
and this fits the style perfectly. THe picture does not do this coin justi=
ce, and I expected this kind of reaction here on ebay. Heck, I would be doi=
ng the same thing. If this item does not sell here, it will set at auction =
in febuary either way. Another misconception is that many people think each=
counterfeit will look exactly the same. This was the 1700's, and that was =
nearly impossible. Besides, I can count the number of people who have seen =
an authentic 1776 CEOCIVS on one hand, luckily I am good friends with two o=
