OK.....probably not "XF", but I've seen coins with a whole lot less detail cataloged (by people who know their stuff) as VF. I'm perfectly comfortable with somewhere in that classification...say 20 to 25. Remember., we're talkin' Vermonts here....well struck is the exception to the rule. I personally think 15 is too low....look at the hair...very little actual wear on those spots. The leaves are the highest spot, but they're never really fully struck up anyway. I'm not talking "net grade" here.....by those standards, certain LC collectors would call id AG.
WHOA, ya think? I'm thinking a solid 15 and probably a "straight face 20", taking into account what Mike called Ford's VF. If actually EF then solidly in the CC, with I think a 20 maybe scraping the bottom?
