Hey, maybe it is just me. I saw no remnants of a past cleaning. Coin care was applied. I also think the grade Fine is low. This coin shows beautiful denticulation as well as a bevy of die cracks and die failure. There are three planchet flaws on the reverse. This coin deserved a pic in my opinion. Morris 1788 New Jersey Copper. Maris 65-u (R-4). Morristown Mint. 125.8 gns. Fine. Blue-brown peripheries surround brighter copper-brown centers, the probably remnants of a past cleaning. Bold denticulation at the upper obverse and left reverse. Three large planchet flaws at the reverse shield, with graininess showing through at the weak centers, which are partially due to the failure of the dies. Ex Stack's Sale of September 2003, lot 42.
