    Hi Marc,
I am exhausted. I would have posted the PRL earlier, but almost as soon as I finished the 300 mile drive home, I had to go to church to help build the set for our Christmas play. I just posted the PRL but hen saw that Neil had done so also. The Convention was a lot of fun. I missed a handful of people I was hoping to see, but met some new collectors too. This convention had more little technical problems for me than all the other conventions put together. Pretty much, all the problems were out of my control. But inspite of room changes, computer compatibility and a cancellation of one speaker for medical reasons, everyone had fun!
To give you an idea... this morning when I was packing up the material from the C4 Table, a member came up to me and gave a check for $100 as a donation to C4. He said that this Convention was the most fun he's ever had and he wanted to find a way to say thank you. This collector was like you and me - where a hundred dollars really means something. That meant so much to me! (The sentiment, not the $$)
The food for our social times was excellent! (Thanks Dennis!) We had three fine exhibits! (Thanks Buell and exhibitors) The C4 Auction realized $292K and there was over $3K in donated lots (material where the proceeds go directly to C4). (Thanks to M&G, Tom Rinaldo, auction lot viewing volunteers & coordinators and the donors of lots). The educational events were entertaining and informative. Lou Jordan even allowed me to bring an anvil, 2 pound sledge and musket balls to smash... to add a little something different for his presentation. Morris H finally made it to C4, and so did Charlie R! Great to see them. There was so much going on, and some exciting things too, but I'll leave that for others to post about... I can hear my bed calling me!

    Good night all,
    Ray
