    Hi Guys,
I got the call from Syd Martin that he'll be needing the "President's Message"... That always means that the C4 Newsletter is about ready to go to print. I've actually had a preview of a draft copy in case there are some articles I need to comment on. I'm not going to give anything away, but this will be one of the (if not the) thickest newsletters we've published and there seems to be something for everyone in it.

Editors are the most important people in our hobby and seldom recognized! They do so much work to give us quality publications and sit in the limelight of the authors and contributors. I'm not just talking about the C4N Editors, but the editors on the C4 Publications Committee, the CNL, the ANS Magazine, the ANA's Numismatist, Coin World & Numismatic News... And especially the editors for the small and local clubs that put out a one page photocopy for their clubs each month.
The only time editors seem to get recognized is when someone has a complaint, and the complaint is usually with respect to an author's material and not the editor's work. So when you read a hobby publication that you really enjoy, drop the editor a line. When you see an editor at a convention, buy him lunch (or at least a coffee). Everyone needs an "attaboy" once in a while and editors are no exception!
