Dave, That's wonderful. I saw the boys at the show but didn't know if they got anything numismatic. A 48-g is a great start to a variety collection - a distinct type coin and usually well struck even in lower grades. Does Ben know he's getting the coin or will it be a surprise on Chanukah? It's nice to start him off on the right foot with a NJ Copper, rather that working him up through the other state coinages to get to the NJ series <VBG>!!! On that note, good night all! Ray

Hi Ray at al:
As regards younger Colonial collectors, my six year old Ben just acquired his first Colonial at C4. He liked the shield on a 48-g NJ copper (he preferred it to a 46-e I also showed him) so I purchased it as one of his Chanukah presents. And it was well under $100. So I guess you NJ collectors had better watch out! Who would be nasty enough to bid against a cute kid trying to add a couple of R-7 Jerseys to his collection!?
