I am looking to find information on three different Rosa Americana
Coins -- where they are at this time, who may have them or photos of
them, or any other information about them:
(1) Breen 141. Evidently a crowned rose halfpenny with a stop after
the 1723 date. It is not pictured, and no other info is provided.
Breen lists it as "Very Rare," which means there should be some around.
(2) Breen 97. A two penny piece with a crowned rose reverse,
having a misspelled label "UTILE DULI" rather than "UTILE DULCI".
Breen lists it as "Unique."
(3) There was a neat counterstamped rosa halfpenny (of the rather
rare VTILE variety; it was lot #2008 and evidently went back to the
"Book."
Also, I continue to be interested in Rosa Americana minting errors,
counterstamps, and the like.
Any info/help would be appreciated.
Also, I would like to correspond with anyone having more than a
casual collection of Rosa Americana pieces -- please do so at my
personal address rather than the group one. Thanks,
