Hi folks,
First off, I want to extend apologies to the group for my unusual=20
posting last night. This was an error in judgment on my part, and I am=20
sorry. It's Mike's one-year anniversary, so to speak. Enough said.
There was some talk of "frozen lightning" and meteorites recently on=20
the list. I think I have an item that is quite awesome.
I have a golf ball in my desk that got hit by lightning - very cool=20
looking. I found it partially buried at the base of a scarred tree=20
(looking for my own lost ball - I'm not Tiger). The ball of course=20
melted, and all of the surrounding mineral stuff melted and fused to=20
the side of the ball - like mountain ranges on the moon.
It's definitely one of those once-in-a-lifetime finds.
