Hi All,
One quick question for you CT Copper specialists... In October 1769, Abel Buell petitioned the CT State Assembly for permission to run a lottery so he could raise funds to start his own type foundry business. Does anyone know the decision of the CT State Assembly and do any of these lottery tickets exist (if the lottery was actually held)?
