Hi All,
Hope everyone has had a great weekend. I'm looking for help here as there seems to be a number of you with exceptional libraries and search engines. I have a piece of Swedish Plate Money. It's a 3+ pound piece of copper and the heaviest coin in my collection! Does anyone knbow of a reference to any of these being shipped to the British American Colonies? I know Sweden exported tons of copper and th piece I have came from a wreck of a Danish ship off the coast of South Africa. If I can find some reference to these being in the colonies, then I can justify it as being in my collection as a colonial <BG>, otherwise, it's a foreign coin I can use as a conversation piece. I've talked about it before (I think) but I don't think there were any replies.
Ray
