I had a great time at the GSNA show the last couple of days. There were ove=
r 100 dealers on hand to pick through their inventory, and a joint EAC/C4 m=
eeting was held early this afternoon. I was able to meet some new coin peop=
le as well as pick up a few "trinkets" with my limited funds available for =
the show. Ray and I took a break and enjoyed a coffee(actually Ray had a co=
uple Dr Peppers....the first time I remember seeing him drink anything othe=
r than coffee, but after having a cup at the show I saw why....on a scale f=
rom 1 to 10 it was a -3) Got to see some really high grade large cents and =
half cents, and some very convincing fakes from China...they're scary... I =
was expecting to see more colonial people at the show since it was pretty m=
uch in the middle of NJ 1 hour from Manhattan and 1 1/4hours from Philly. I=
did get to see Frank Johsozosozosoitz<s>...and George Lyman...that name I =
can remember....and met Frank's dad, who was nice enough to man
Frank's table and allow him to attend the meeting. Frank had an interestin=
g NJ that I'll let him tell you about when he figures out what he has, and =
George bought a Mario creation along to show and tell. (or was it Frank). A=
ll in all, it was a great time as always when you bring coin people togethe=
r, but too short. I would have like to stick around and help Ray pack up th=
e Subaru, but had something I had to do at home at 5:30.=20

I'm hoping someone in one of the groups can help me out with these. A count=
erstamped=A08 maravedis does anyone know this R counterstamp?? What is it? =
The other coin I labeled "What's it" it weighs 126.5 grains and is oblong, =
the longer side measuring 30.71mm and the shorter diameter 29.41. It's copp=
er that has been silvered, but most of the silvering is off the one side. I=
really can't make much out, except it looks like a dog or something on the=
front...thought it was a lamb, but it has a long tail. Any help would be a=
    ppreciated.
