I just received my copy of Calbeto. My mail lady asked if I was having bric= ks delivered. The books came with a dust jacket, obviously home made, but n= ice, and are in incredible condition. A small coffee stain affects the top = right corner of the first page or two...about 1 inch square. This makes 2 b= ook dealers I have to recommend. Alan Workman for these great books he sold= me at reasonable prices, and David Fanning for the same on books I purchas= ed from him at EAC. I always had a decent numismatic library, but it is gro= wing considerably thanks to a number of factors I won't get into, but my ap= preciation is there to anyone who knows what I am talking about. I won't be= posting much for a while, because I really have to start reading a lot mor= e, and posting a lot less. I was able to sell some coins to keep my head ab= ove water to make some recent book purchases, and now that I have the books= , I don't really miss the coins as much, and figure it was more than a fair trade-off.=20
Neither Alan nor David asked me to post this, but I was just so happy with = the way they conduct business that I felt compelled to do so.=20
I hope all of you have a nice weekend. Remember the vets who died, and thin= k of those now serving who cannot be at the BBQ eating hot dogs, chicken an= d ribs=A0and having a cold beer or soda with their families. While we're to= ssing horseshoes, some of them will be dodging bullets and landmines. Let's= just hope they get home alive by next Memorial Day or better yet, sooner. --0-1931580979-1242923299=:90580 Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
