Hi All,
Just got back from the NJ Numismatic Society meeting a few minutes ago. My talk was very well received. I got some really good questions and actually some laughter at my jokes too! We had a new member join tonight and she specializes in the hammered coinages of British monarchs. In the brief minutes I had to talk with her, I was VERY impressed with her knowledge of British coinage and the history of the monarchs. Now I have another source to go to for information. That's one of the cool things about this group... although many don't post on a regular basis, when someone has a legitimate question, there are always several who step to the plate with good replies. Like when Dan Burleson posted an inquiry about his NJ Coppers, by the time I finished reading all the posts, his question had been answered. There is a wealth of knowledge on this group!
