An ad in the Aug 8, 1787 Massachusetts Centinel from
merchant Thomas Wells of Boston states he has
opened a wine cellar under the Old South Meeting House
    where may be had:

*Madeira, Port, Cacavilla, Burgundy, Fyall, Sherry, Lisbon,
    Teneriffe, Claret, Malaga.

    Cash for empty bottles.

*In addition, for those non-winos, he was selling Old
Jamaica Spirit, Windward Rum, Brandy, bottle Porter,
Cider by the barrel, bottle, etc.

Anyone willing to find that Old South Meeting House and see
what's left in the cellar ?
