Hi Guys,
I have a nice example of a British Calendar Medal from 1783 (I think). I found this website (along with some very astute comments from your C4 President) in this week's E-Sylum. The Calendar Medals were a way of advertising for whoever made them, and also gave you the important religious and political dates you needed to remember. Check them out at http://www.tokensociety.org.uk/topics/calendar.shtml
And if you still haven't signed up for the free weekly newsletter E-Sylum, take a minute and go to:
https://my.binhost.com/lists/listinfo/esylum
It's FREE! Your email address is kept confidential. You can unsubscribe (you won't) at any time for no reason at all. I'm leading the horse to water here guys... take a drink!
Ray
