Hi Guys,
I don't know about you, but I'm tired of hearing about our bad economy, soldiers getting killed and everything else on the nightly news. I saw that at 9:00 tonight (NJ time) on The Learning Channel (TLC) there is a special "Brace for Impact" - the story of Captain "Sully" landing that jet liner in the Hudson a year ago, with no loss of life. I'm looking forward to watching something good for a change.
Thinking about something good... I attended the international Show in NY on Friday with Leo Shane. There was a talk scheduled for 4:00 Saturday afternoon called "Heavy Metal" by Kerry Wetterstrom (Editor of the Celator). What could the talk be about... About Swedish Plate Money! I own a very nice example but was not able to return the next day for the talk. Kerry, the nice guy he is, sat with me at his table and gave me a personal presentation while I watched the images on his laptop. I learned a lot from him in those 20 minutes!
Well, if you run across a situation where you can make the hobby a little better for someone, give it a try. You won't regret it!
