Greetings, This is probably an easy question for an old-timer. Who cataloged the NJ's in the 10/1980 Garret sale. On what must be page 5, it seems to list Bowers for "writing" and then Picker for "research concerning...New Jersey...". The reason Im wondering is I was reading the Ezra Cole sale B&M 1/1986, lot 1243. Here it says, "In 1980 the present writer catalogued the Garrett Collection of United States coins, The New Jersey copper section, and under lot 1457..." Page 2 of this catalog lists many names, Bowers and Hodder among them. No Dick Picker. Had he passed by that date? So who is this writer of these two catologs? I sure wish those cataloging collections were better identified in catalogs. They deserve to be. Any help appreciated. Sincerely, Buell Ish
