The show was pretty big, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who can actually=
get physically ill on the initial "run through" of the bourse. I hadn't ea=
ten breakfast, had 3 coffees and a 5 hour energy drink before I went out to=
keep sharp. I sat once in 3 hours bouncing from table to table, and don't =
think I looked up at a face for the entire time. Maybe it was constantly pu=
tting on and taking off my reading glasses....but the place was pretty much=
picked through. Each table I asked "Hi, do you have any early British or I=
rish copper....George II or III...even back to William III?". The answer wa=
s the same....people had already been there and went through what they had.=
It's always a great time though...I just have to slow down on that run thr=
ough....I have a solution, but don't know if they will go for it. Dealers s=
et up, and close the bourse to only me for 6 hours so I can take my time an=
d not feel pressure. It's an odd feeling...while going from table to
table surrounded by a several hundred other people doing the same thing, I=
have the unrealistic feeling that every single one of them is asking the d=
ealers if they have George II and III halfpence and farthings.<BG>

More than a few=A0dealers said, "You must be one of them guys looking for c=
ounterfeits". When I first started doing the run through in the mid 80's, n=
obody asked that. I guess they're onto me.=20

Either way, I'm feeling better tonight,=A0but sorry I missed Ray's talk on =
paper money. He always makes a great presentation, but there was nobody at =
my rides home for a couple hours and he was worried about the dog.<s>

I've attached a photo showing the view of the bourse we had from our C4 mee=
ting. Surprisingly it was sparsley attended for such an important city to c=
olonial America. (I wonder why PA didn't produce a state coinage?)
