Hello All! With a lot of people expressing interest in the "Michigan Mario Mint" (say that three times fast!) colonial counterfeits, I thought it would be a nice idea to break out my collection of these and have them on display at C4. Buell Ish scared up a couple of cases, and I will get what I have together and put them on display. I have a pretty good grouping of these, with many different types -- but would love to see any others that C4 members may own. If anyone want to bring something to compare, that's fine -- and if anyone wants to add their coin(s) to the exhibit, there will certainly be room to do so. Even if they are the same types of pieces that I am bringing, it would mean that both obverse and reverse could be shown in the same case.
While a few people have seen some of these, this will be the first time that they've all been on display, and I think collectors will get a kick out of them.
If anyone has any they would like to bring, please e-mail me either through the group or privately.
Wow, Boston in just 10 days!
