I just did the SG tests on 3 of the gold pieces.=20
    1813 1 escudo 16.935 appx=A075% pure
    1796 2 escudo 17.894 appx 84% pure
    1788 8 escudo 14.625 appx 50-55% pure
    =A0
Pics came out bad but I was Russian....and you thought I was Italian....I a=
m 75% confident on my results, which isn't very good, but I sort of moved i=
t along pretty quick so I could get a lot of stuff in the bank today.
    =A0
As you can see from the following link, the SG will vary widely with what t=
he coin was alloyed with. The best test is yet to come when I will send all=
of the gold and get the exact metallurgical breakdown....and hopefully, th=
e tester moves around and tests different spots to make sure he doesn' hit =
a high impurity area or lack of. If the mix is poor, the test will be too, =
but it's all we have now without melting them down I guess. The 2nd link sh=
ows purity approximations also.(I attached a snip of that screen)
