=C2=A0=20 Steve
Judging solely by the images you've provided=C2=A0it resembles a cast copy.= There=20 appear to be some bubbling on George's neck and=C2=A0there is certainly=C2= =A0a partial=20 edge seam.=C2=A0Maybe a contemporary cast? Is the weight and diameter=C2=A0= correct for the=20 issue?
Michael.

=C2=A0=20 Cast? Fire coin? Grounder? Mint state gem?<BG>
I recently purchased this from a nice guy I occassionally purchase from on = ebay,=20 and got the price down to a reasonable amount....I liked the incomplete pla= nchet=20 cut.....unfortunately, his camera makes the coin look better than what I th= ink=20 it is. Like I said, a nice guy I've bought from in the past, and I will be= =20 sending back, just because I don't like grounders, or whatever it is. I was= =20 going to bring to Stacks, but not sure if I'm going with the inclemet weath= er.=20 Any opinions from the photo on whether cast/grounder/ or fire coin or somet= hing?=20 There is a reason I'm asking this question....I want to compare your opinio= ns to=20 a very well respected collectors opinion he gave the seller when the seller= =20 asked the same quesiton I did. The edge has that seam coming up, but I gues= s it=20 could have been pinched somehow, but it is also smoothed there...also areas= =20 where there could have been a port. Sorry for the bad pics, but the best I = can=20 do for now.=20
