This is one of my gold plated platinum which I mention in case the plating =
could cause this. The coin is a sharply struck and high grade, AU. Notice t=
he lines from the forehead area to through the field. Also there are lines =
on the bust itself, most notable on the lower front and off to the fields a=
gain. I never noticed them until today when I sent the photo to someone. I =
had noticed the lines within the bust and thought they were just part of th=
e design, but they're so similar to the ones extending to the fields I'm re=
-thinking this.
=A0
I probably never noticed because I never shot it under such a bright light,=
which screwed the color up, but brings out the details.
=A0
Any thoughts?
