Well, the SLT Collection of Connecticut Coppers has now been dispersed to t=
he next round of custodians.
My personal opinion is that prices seemed very strong....especially on many=
of the coins I had on my watch list.
The highest hammer price was $95,000 for the 1.2-mm "Muttonhead" variety. =
Numerous other coins hammered well into 5-figures.
Of 50 coins I was watching, I managed to come away with "at least" 8 of the=
m.....5 new varieties for my collection and three upgrades. Two are ex-Tay=
lor, and one is ex-Ford. (The online bidding software shows my bid as the =
highest on a 9th (upgrade), but it doesn't show up as mine on another scree=
n. I'll just have to wait to see how it pans out.)
Here's to ya' Steve......we'll take good care of them !!!!
