KOOL SHOT of the pursed lips area. This particular MM had high tin (Two XRF=
spot analyses: 1.3 and 1.4%). Its the only MM in the XRF overview for the =
book. Phil I took about (12) XRF surface shots of the obv./rev. and all ana=
lysis came up with high tin at this level. So its confirmed it part of the =
coin's alloy composition. Lead was 1.5 - 1.7% but a struck piece. Arsenic v=
ery high at 0.62% and bismuth low =3D 0.07% suggsting the later use English=
import copper and not Cornish copper. White surface debris? This was not a=
SEM/EDS spot analysis area.
With a sole MM piece examined no conclusions can be made of course ...
