    Hey,
WVU update news: QB Geno Smith to the Jets, WR's Tavon Austin and Stedman =
Bailey to the Rams, WR JD Woods and C Joe Madsen to the Steelers and Jeff =
    Braun C/G to the Ravens.
    Gotcha :)

I have made some minor cosmetic updates to our homepage and more substantia=
l changes to our meetings and events page. Suggestions are always welcome.

I am not a bells and whistle guy.

Please send me photo's of your favorite coins, if they are your favorites t=
hen they deserve a spot in the rotation on our homepage.

    Format: 300X300 dpi, white/transparent background.
    Standard formats: PNG, TIF, JPG.....etc.

In my opinion, what we (our website) have always lacked is words about colo=
nials and the time period. Your specialies, your interests, your thoughts, =
    your knowledge. They are worthwhile.

There is no reason we cannot be the wikipedia of colonial coins in our own =
    fashion.

No rules......just good, solid, interesting information.

I am not going to rip words from somewhere else for our website unless it i=
    s really appropriate.

Contrasting viewpoints are always welcome. See below :)

"I am preparing to present my findings that contrary to current thinking Jo=
hn Roche was actually the die sinker for the St. Patricks Breen 213 trailin=
g stars varieties and that this whole family should now be considered as co=
ntemporary counterfiets with a possible NY connection. I am waiting for XRF=
analysis results. An interesting subnote to this topic is that no examples=
of B213 have been found west of the Appalachian Mountains."

One change that I have made to our former "Upcoming C4 meetings and Events"=
page is to tie it to the recent past as well as future events.....so it is=
now C4 Meetings and Events and if you go to the link you will find basic i=
nfo on the upcoming GSNA meeting this weekend in the Garden State and also =
some reflections by two of our members Ray and Bruce on their recent experi=
    ences last week at EAC.

I will post ANA and West Coast pre - ANA info soon.

I am not in the CW/NN loop. So help me out. If an event it is of significan=
ce to you then let me know about it and I will post it.

NOW, my thoughts on Chrome - Google - Windows 8.
I buy most of the computers for people in my department.
    Compatiblity is big issue.
We have our share of Mac's.
For the most part I stick with Intel motherboards and I7 processors.
Not thrilled with the 64 bit enviroment but can't avoid it.
I have only bought Win 8 (forced to) with a few very inexpensive notebooks=
    .
    Hate it.
90% of our department is running Win 7 Pro/ Win 7 Ultimate. For those of yo=
u at home, Win 7 Home is fine.
I know better but I still use google, but only in the most basic search eng=
    ine enviroment.
I'm still running XP 64 Pro on my workstation.
I use the popup the blocker with Chrome, because the damn ads are annoying.

    Good night friends/ going offline.
Send me photos and send me words.
    It is our site.
    Stan
