Yes, on most of the lots. There may be a few exceptions.
Many are selling for=C2=A0over the Taylor prices.
Several=C2=A0of the extremely rare varieties have not shown up for auction.
Common varieties with damage and other problems do not sell well.
Do you have any particular varieties in mind?
=C2=A0

We can't blame Mexico for having its Revolution with Spain in 1811 - the
coinage=20
which circulated, emergency issues and the circulation patterns are similar
to=20
the U.S. Colonial coppers in many ways - the Forgotten Book revision is
dead ...=20
it seems ... the reasons really can only be discussed privately. Some of
the=20
information prepared can be published like some significant findings with
the=20
Blacksmiths ... but again it was a book for the beginners to simply bring
more=20
people to the collecting of CC's of all types. Besides the field of CC=20
collecting has mushroomed since its publication. I do believe I came up
with a=20
proper attribution system for the British 1/2d's which really needs to be=20
developed ... when an attribution system is schizophrenic as it is NOW it
does=20
inhibit new collectors due to the complexity of its learning curve ... I=20
collected these for 20 years and sold them in 2008 but since I have not
been in=20
the in-group for the last 5 years with Roger & Co. I have no idea what the
hell=20
is going on with these families or their discussions ... just saying ... it=
=20
needs to be more user-friendly.
The Blacksmiths are tough - there crude, no legends, there like collecting
cast=20
British/Irish 1/2d's ... just tough to like & fully understand and the rare=
=20
types maybe ONE-TWO surface every year and most are Unique as in the Bank
of=20
Canada Collection. I have not added a variety in about 10 years. But prices
have=20
been going up and collectors (U.S. & Canadian) are starting to realize that=
=20
these are the most desirable pieces in their Colonial period.
