It's like the 1788 1-I CT / VT R-39...if you collect both series, you need =
    =20
one for each. And since it's a Machins Mills product, many collectors of =
    =20
    that series want one too,=20=20
    =20
So as a result of three groups of collectors "needing" one, we have one of =
    =20
the most expensive rarity 5 coins in the colonial series.

    Dave,
The only logical solution is to own three Washington Before Boston Medals=
    =20
    - one for each category it is a part of.

    I know the feeling well.
Many years ago, I misplaced a handful of well worn CTs=E2=80=A6..nothing=20
significant, maybe four or five coins. I searched all over but never foun=
    d them.=20=20
I assumed that I had thrown them out as I have been known to =E2=80=9Chide=
    =E2=80=9D things=20
at the bottom of the garbage can (=E2=80=9Cclean=E2=80=9D garbage=E2=80=A6=

    my desk.
Several years later (at least five, maybe more) I was boxing up about 20 =
    =20
years=E2=80=99 worth of National Geographic magazines I was donating to our=
    local=20=20
library. As I picked up a small handful, I noticed an obvious =E2=80=9Cbu=
    lge=E2=80=9D in=20
the stack. Upon looking, guess what=E2=80=A6.there were the coins!
As a matter of fact, right now I am =E2=80=9Cmissing=E2=80=9D two small an=
    cients. These=20
are small ancient silver coins each about 3 or 4 millimeters in diameter.=
    =20=20
I suspect that I had them in an unmarked envelope which I pulled out and=20
placed another coin in without realizing they were in there. So someday I=
    =20
hope to make another pleasing =E2=80=9Cdiscovery=E2=80=9D.

How many of you have misplaced a coin or a coin box? Between bringing=20=20
coins back n forth from the bank, coin shows, talks to clubs, sharing=20=20
with friends... I get this knot in my stomach when I can't find=20=20
something. Well, that happened yesterday when I went to look small box=20=20
of coins. I thought it was in the house. I tore the house apart to no=20=20
avail. Then I assumed it was in the safe deposit box. I went to the=20=20
bank after a long trip to North Jersey, and it wasn't in there!!! I=20=20
finally found it inside a larger coin box - sort of mis-filed. What a=20=20
good feeling when something missing shows up again!
