Many of you have probably seen my white envelopes with labels wrapped a=
round them. I use Avery 5162 (or equivalent) 1 1/3 x 4 inch labels. Fourte=
en labels on a sheet. Use your word processing mailings/labels tab and that=
Avery number should appear. I then select "new Document" which lets me mak=
e 14 different labels instead of a whole sheet of just one. Using 14pt bold=
is right for me and I like Times New Roman type. I like to put VERMONT (my=
kind of coppers)in the upper left, space to the right and put variety maki=
ng sure not to pass two inches so that info stays on the front. You can sp=
ace to the right further to put more info that will eventually wrap aroun=
d to the back of the envelope and then continue down with whatever addition=
al information you like to include. You can eyeball this remembering that 0=
-2 inches shows on the front and 2-4 inch area wraps around to the back. I =
like to put price code, stock number and such on the back and you can alway=
s write other comments in the future. I like to put weight and measurements=
also. These work perfect for me and fit just right.
In the dark ages I used to put them in a typewriter and occasionally h=
ave to use white out. Some of you may still have these rare envelopes. A ne=
w collecting habit perhaps? This extra wrap adds a little more protection a=
lso. My penmanship has always been horrific to say the least and as Charlie=
Davis told me when signing the bookplates on the new bindings: "YOU WILL S=
IGN THESE & SIGN THEM LEGIBLY!!! Hope this helps. Tony C
PS: Looking forward to seeing many of you in a month. I have new jobs that =
let me have time for coins, coin friends and conventions again. Failed at =
Wal Mart Greeting school but have a dream job of being a salami taste teste=
r for Fortuna Sausage Co. and keep busy at rollingrocksalt.com. Even time t=
o reply to group!
