was a Notre Dame Alumni and a general numismat, some of the coins in the=20
collection were purchased and donated by Mr. Gore along with the=20
endowment he made to the university. =C2=A0 I believe that most of the=20
colonial material has been acquired using the endowment. As it was=20
described to me the collection is for use by students in a variety of=20
study areas. =C2=A0
