Yeah! Randy does such good work, he really should write a book on this ser=
    ies or something. <g>

It is an excellent list, regardless of source. And Randy being a source is=
    no surprise to me.

We just got home from a Caribbean cruise a few hours ago and I am plowing t=
    hough several hundred unread emails...

First off, I take absolutely no credit for developing that list. I simply =
took a list originally put together by Randy Clark.....not sure if it was e=
ver published as an article.....and distilled it into the list of most easi=
ly available varieties needed to put together the Red Book type set of Conn=
ecticut die varieties for the 2014 Convention's BoD sponsored display.

The colors were simply some (now forgotten) code of either what varieties I=
had already lined up, or some other criteria.

I've not seen this before. It is an EXCELLENT list in that it boils down w=
ell over 300 die pairs into something manageable. Thanks for posting!

    Hi guys,
    =20
I'm considering forming a small CT Copper type
    set in the future.=20=20
    =20
I'm thinking of keeping it to 8 or 10 coins, each being
    an obvious=20
    =20
different style (head left, head right, mailed bust,
    draped bust, and=20
    =20
including one of each of the four dates).=20
    =20
I'd love to get advice for what the most
    common(economical)=20
    =20
varieties are, to accomplish this task, in approximately VF
    condition.=20=20
    =20
I have a couple nice CTs in my collection, and a handful of
    lower grade=20
    =20
CTs. What varieties might I consider?
    =20
    Any suggestions would be appreciated,
    =20
    Thanks
