EAC will be holding their annual convention from April 20 through 23, 2017 in Philadelphia. 2017 will mark the 50th anniversary of EAC's founding, and so where better to have such a major milestone convention than in the city where the first United States Mint was located. And if that's not enough......our very own Ray Williams is Convention Chairman.

In conjunction with our fellow early copper enthusiasts at EAC, both organizations are working to promote our areas of interest, and coin collecting as a whole. EAC had a table right next to ours at the most recent C4 Convention in Baltimore, and we had a joint Educational Forum with speakers from both clubs presenting talks.

EAC has graciously offered to provide C4 with two display cases for an exhibit of Colonial related coins or currency. It can either be a single exhibit utilizing both cases or two separate exhibits of one case each. I believe the only requirement is that you must be a member of either EAC and/or C4 to exhibit. These are non-competitive displays, so just because your coins aren't all gem mint red, don't think you can't show them off.

If anyone is interested in setting up a display, please reply back to me directly (email below) with a brief description of what you would like to display and how many cases you'd need. I must have our final requirements to EAC by the middle of January, so if you're interested, please don't delay in contacting me.
