  • <p> Du Cange mentions this as being a small coin, the name of which is found in an agreement dated 1320 between Philip V of France and the Bishop of Tournay. An ordinance of 1330 mentions &quot deux soulz uz deniers et une abanque Parisis, &quot which is probably the same coin.
