Annunciata Public Deposited
The popular name for a coin of the Gonzaga family, princes of Guastalla, which bears on the obverse the annunciation to the Virgin. It was equal to fourteen Soldi and was issued to the end of the sixteenth century.
The type was copied in 1745 on the Quaclruplo d'Oro of Charles Emanuel III, king of Sardinia.
