Ardite Public Deposited
A small copper coin of Barce- lona struck by Philip III (1598-1621) and by his successors until the middle of the eighteenth century. It probably obtained its name from the fact that on the earliest types the portrait of the king separated the two letters A.R. ( Aragoniae Rex).
