Bezemstuiver Öffentlichkeit Deposited
The name given to a small silver coin issued in Friesland, Over- ysel, Utrecht, etc., from about 1620 to 1770. It had on the obverse a figure re- sembling the fasces , to indicate the union of the Provinces, and hence the French equivalent, Sou au Faisceau.
